Express Pet SittingExpress visits are shorter visits that provide for your pet’s basic needs at a reduced rate. This service is good for pets who do not require much attention or pets who are shy and don’t want anything to do with anyone except their owner. Express visits are only available for dogs as a second or third daily visit when combined with at least one full service visit. Most dogs require more attention than what can be given in a short visit. In addition, an express visit is not available for more than two pets unless it is a second or third daily visit combined with at least one full service visit. The shorter time does not allow enough time for proper care and attention for more than two pets if it is the only type of visit each day. Express service only includes fresh food and water, let dog out to potty, scoop litter box, and a little attention time. If your pet requires medication or you need additional services such as plant watering, you will need full pet sitting service. Number of Daily Visits Most dogs require a minimum of two visits per day, unless they are an outside dog or have a doggy door. Depending on the dog, some may require three visits per day. Cats and other small animals may only require one visit per day, but I’ll come more often if desired. For safety purposes, I require cats and small animals be visited every day and do not do every other day visits. NOTE: If you require multiple visits each day, you may request a combination of full and express services. You could have one or two full service visits combined with one or two express visits. Remember services are customized to your needs.
What I Need From You Before I can care for your pet, I ask that he or she have current rabies vaccination, have ID tags attached or available, and be licensed if required. This helps ensure the safety of your pets and myself. I ask that my clients give at least one week's notice prior to the date of service when possible. However, I will try to make accommodations to provide service in the event of an emergency situation. A new client should plan on making an appointment at least two weeks in advance. I recommend Holiday reservations be made at least one month in advance because I get more requests than I can schedule.
