Rate Information
This page contains a summary of the base rates for
Pets-at-Home Pet Sitting service options. Rates can vary because all visits are
tailored to each client’s needs and there are a number of variables
such as area of service, number of pets, extended time and specific
service requirements unique to each situation. Exact
fees will be established when the care plan is finalized during the
initial consultation visit. For full details on services included

page.
Fuel Surcharge
A fuel surcharge of $1 visit may be
assessed when the cost of fuel reaches $3.00 per gallon.
Distance traveled factors into this surcharge. This is on top
of the base rate charged for service.
Full Service Pet
Sitting
Starting at $18.00 per visit
Full Service base rates will generally cover up to three pets with
normal care requirements. Visits average 25 to 30 minutes.
Additional pet charge:
$2.00 extra per additional pet unless excessive care
required
Cage Cleaning: $3.00 to $5.00 per
cleaning
Express Pet Sitting
Starting at $15.00 per visit
An express visit is not available for more than two pets unless it
is a second or third daily visit combined with at least one full
service visit. As a secondary daily visit, the express base
rate will generally cover up to three pets with simple care
requirements. Visits average 15 to 20 minutes.
Additional pet charge:
$2.00 extra per additional pet unless excessive
care required
Starting rates are for core service
area. For residences located further than five miles from my
home which is close to the intersection of
North Tarrant Parkway and Davis there is a mileage surcharge of $1.00 for
each extra mile.
NOTE: If you require multiple visits each day, you may request a combination of full and express
services. You could have one or two full service visits
combined with one or two express visits. Remember services are
customized to your needs.
Mid-Day Walk
$17.00 per walk (minimum 3 scheduled walks per week)
$18.00 per walk (if less than 3 walks per week)
$15.00 per visit (15 to 20 minute visit)
Mid-Day services only available in core
service area.
Store Errands
$36.00 per hour - $18.00 minimum
Service Sign-up / Key Pick up and Drop Off
$15.00 for initial consultation / service
sign-up meeting
The $15.00 fee will be waived for pet sitting bookings of 5 or
more visits. I can no longer afford to absorb the costs
involved in meeting with a new client for less than a 5 visit reservation.
If I need to come back to
complete the service agreement there will be a $15.00
fee, or if just to pick up key a $10.00 fee will be imposed.
Charge for key pick up and drop off is $10.00. Fee waived for
initial service for new clients if key picked up at initial
consultation visit. You can avoid
this fee by having me keep your key on file for future service.
Holiday Fees
An extra $5 per visit will be charged on the following holidays:
Payment / Deposit Information
Payment for first time clients is due at time of booking.
Payment for established clients
is due on first day of service. Check to be left at home to be
picked up on first day of service or Paypal payment to be made on or
before first day of service.
For assignments longer than 10 days, a deposit
of 50% is required at time of booking.

Pets-at-Home
Pet Sitting reserves the right to adjust rates based on the care
necessary for individual pets and/or other services requested.
